William “Bill” Trott

William “Bill” Trott of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at Enterprise Health & Rehabilitation. He was 80. 

A graveside service will be at 11AM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Meadowlawn Cemetery, Hwy. 27 Enterprise, Alabama with Rev. Edd Brashier and Dr. Ben Bowden officiating. Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.

Bill was born October 11, 1942 in North Carolina to the late William Buren and Ruby J. Trott. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters. Bill was a US Army Pathfinder Paratrooper, retired from Terminix International, a gardener, and the thing he loved the most “Pop Bill”.

Survivors include his, one time blind date, wife of 56 years Aara Trott, his children Chad (Jennifer) Trott of Elba, and Rita (Michael) Boothe of Elba. Grandchildren Hayley (Zach) Oneal of Enterprise, Matthew (Laken) Trott of Elba, Riley Boothe of Enterprise, and Adam Boothe of Birmingham. Great-grandchildren Rutledge and Liam, and great neighbors Jerry & Judy Schultz, Larry & Connie Petrie, and Donna & Delma Mauldin.
