Tommy Fleming of Enterprise passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was 75.
A Celebration of Life will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Lee Street Baptist Church with Reverend Slade Stinson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing.
Tommy was born in Coffee County, Alabama on November 24, 1946 to the late Melvin and Elizabeth Anderson Fleming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Fleming.
He retired from the U.S. Army after serving for 22 years, including a tour in Vietnam. Afterwards, Tommy worked for another 25 years at Fort Rucker as an aircraft support contractor. He was also a Free Mason.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelia Arnold (Ron) and Krista Arnold (Brent); grandchildren, Kacy Arnold, Ron Arnold (Robyn), Morgan Arnold, and Reagan Arnold; brother-in-law, Tracy Cureton; nieces, Lisa Dye and Sherry Cureton; nephew, Michael Cureton; and cousin, Doris Hataway.
