Rebecca "Becky" Carpenter

Rebecca “Becky” Carpenter of New Brockton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.  She was 80.                   

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Kinston with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. 

Becky was born on September 12, 1941 to the late Earl and Willie Mae Renfroe Forehand.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bennie Ray Carpenter; brother, Walter Junior Forehand; and sister, Jennie Mae Killingsworth.  Becky deeply loved her family and was a “Nannie” to many.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Carpenter of New Brockton; grandchildren, Kianna, Marcus, and Aneesa; and several nieces and nephews.
