Randolph Hudson

Randolph Hudson of Enterprise passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. He was 78.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Dr. John Granger officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home officiating.  Pallbearers will be, Ricky Hudson, Ray Harrelson, Billy Harrelson, Robert Rogers, Tim Rogers Hunter Bess.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Face masks and social distancing will be required to attend these events. 

Randolph was born September 19, 1942 in Alabama to the late William Noah “Bill” and Lillie Hudson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Baker and Christine Little; and brother, Jerry Hudson.  Randolph was a Shriner and a Mason.  He was on the Enterprise Zoning Board from 1997 to present and was retired from the Alabama National Guard. He served the Wiregrass community for many years in the flooring industry.  He loved helping others any way he could and was loved by all who knew him.    

Survivors include his wife and soulmate of 57 years, Pat Hudson; siblings, Billy Ray Hudson (Sue) of Opp, AL, Tommy Hudson (Harriet) of Louisiana, Josephine Shipes (Billy) of Dothan, AL, Pat Osborn of Opp, AL, Diane Carter of Opp, AL, Carolyn Foley of Opp, AL, Mary Bess (Mike) of Florala, AL, Jimmy Hudson (Tammy) of Ozark, AL and Lisa Day of Opp, AL; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Hataway, Tommy Hataway (Marion), Ricky Hataway (Lejune Davis), Ronnie Hataway (Tammy) and Mark Hataway (Angie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
