Patsy Truckey

Patsy Truckey, of Enterprise, passed away on November 17, 2021.  She was 80.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Open Door Baptist Church with Reverend John McCrummen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:30 and continuing until the time of service.

Mrs. Truckey was born August 31, 1941 to the late Pee Wee and Edna Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Truckey.  Mrs. Truckey stayed longer than she wanted to.  She was longing for the day of her departure.  She has been leaving since the day Pops left.  Life had been a struggle for the last several years, but she loved life.  She, like her husband, served the city of Enterprise as a school crossing guard, and she was a reserve police officer for several years.  Mrs. Truckey had faith in Jesus Christ and was looking forward to this day.  She would want everyone to be sure about their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Grotheer (Dieter), and son, Mario Truckey (Jennifer), both of Enterpise; four grandchildren, Brittany Dionne (Alex), Zachery Grotheer (Abby), Katlynn Cassels, and Amber Cassels; and four great-grandchildren.
