Martha Ann (Ledbetter) Doyle

Martha Ann Doyle (Ledbetter), 78, of Enterprise, Alabama died on October 5, 2022.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Enterprise, Alabama on Thursday,

December 15, 2022 at 11:30 am. The family will receive condolences at 10:45 am at the church. The Mass

will be officiated by Rev. Zachary Greenwell. There will be a reception following the Mass in the St. John

Hall. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. John Catholic Church,

123 Heath Street, Enterprise AL 36330 for the Beautification Committee.

Martha was born on November 20, 1943, in Cleveland County, North Carolina to Rufus Lee Ledbetter and

Dorece Arrowood. She was married to Joseph Doyle from 1962-1979 and lived in Franklin, Indiana where

she raised their children. Martha was preceded in death by both her parents, her son Joseph Doyle and son-in-law Brad Roberts.

Martha, who most referred to as Nana, lived with her son Mark and his family in Altenstadt, Germany

before moving with them to Enterprise (Ft. Rucker) in 2006. Nana enjoyed assisting on their farm with a

variety of the animals but mostly spent her time in the large vegetable garden, rose garden, and keeping

her beautiful flowers. Nana enjoyed sharing her gardening tips with her grandchildren and friends and loved

to bake cakes for every occasion.

Survivors include her son Mark Doyle (Diane) of Enterprise and their children Matthew (Paiton), Lucas,

Johnathan, and Emma, her daughter Dianna Roberts (Brad) of Spring, Texas and their children Brandon,

Dakota, and Taylor Lord (Josh) and children Bella and Noah. Grandchildren Patrick Doyle and Breanne

Doyle. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Watson of Fairfield, Pennsylvania.
