Margaret (Richardson) Lockhart

Margaret (Shirley) Lockhart of Enterprise, Al., formerly of Penns Grove New Jersey, received her angel wings and went home to glory on Tuesday, August 25. She was 81.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Margaret (Shirley) was born at home in Penns Grove to the late Mike LaRusso and Mary Richardson LaRusso.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Diana Lynn Keane, her sister Matalena Small, and her son-in-law Earl Small.

She is survived by her 5 children that she was very proud of, Norma Small of New Jersey, John Carter of Delaware, Joe Keane of Florida, Gerald (Jerry) Lockhart of Ohio, and Shirley (and Brian) Fair of Alabama, six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She worked as a home health aide for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Shirley enjoyed daily shopping and lunch trips with her oldest daughter, Norma. She had a big heart, never met a stranger and was generous and kind to everyone she met. Shirley loved to laugh and will be missed by many.
