Mable E (Ogburn) Farmer

Mable Farmer of New Brockton, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.  She was 90.

A graveside service will be Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Eden Missionary Baptist Church in Coffee Springs with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. 

Mable was born on March 20, 1930 to the late Willie and Agnes Pearl Ogburn.  She was preceded in death by her husband, W. E. Farmer; son, Randall Baker; sister, Ann Floyd; and brother, Jimmy Keith. 

First and foremost she loved the Lord; she loved her family and spending time with them.  Before she became disabled she enjoyed plants and flowers. 

Survivors include her daughters, Jean Chancey of New Brockton, AL and Sandra James of Ohio; son, Michael Farmer of Enterprise, AL; sisters, Ruby Fleming of Enterprise, AL, Janice Tiller of Florida, Marion Lunsford of Enterprise, AL and Pearl Davis of Kinston, AL; grandchildren, Jeff Chancey (Sallee), Gary Chancey, Tammy Thigpen (Jimmy) and Lacy Farmer; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
