Obituary

Lonnie Gene Motley, age 74, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away early Saturday morning, August 26, 2023 at Medical Center Enterprise.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Jay Kimbro officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Lonnie was born May 24, 1949 in Alabama to the late Cecil and Nadine Motley. In addition to his parents, his wife, Anita Motley; and brother, Max Motley preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Motley of Enterprise, Al; two sisters, Carolyn Knight (Glenn) of Dothan, Alabama, Shirley Avery of Hartford, AL; grandchildren: Tiffany Motley and Joshua Motley of Enterprise, Alabama; two nephews and three great-neices.
