Linda Sue (Reynolds) Goodson

Linda Reynolds Goodson, 81, of Enterprise, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. 

Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10AM, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends at the church from 9AM until service time.

Linda Sue Reynolds Goodson was born on August 28, 1941, in Enterprise, AL. She grew up in the Asbury community south of Enterprise. She married Jerry Obie Goodson in 1959. They were married 64 years. She was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother, and homemaker.

She loved spending time with her three grandchildren and a great grandson. She loved being a part of Mount Pleasant Baptist church for many years. She was known as a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a kind soul with a heart for God. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Reynolds and Katie B. Reynolds, and her brother Royce (Bunk) Reynolds.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Obie Goodson; her sons, Jerry M. Goodson (Jennifer) and Glenn Goodson (Bridget); three grandchildren, Blake Goodson (Heather), Luke Goodson, and Mason Goodson; a great grandson, Cason Goodson, all of Enterprise; and a sister, Eleanor Wentzel, Lancaster, PA.; a sister-in-law, Janice Reynolds. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
