Kenneth “Kimbo” Sasser, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family. He was 71.
Funeral services will be at 10am on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise, Alabama with Doctor Johnathan Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Goodman Independant Church cemetery in Goodman, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening October 17, 2023 from 6pm until 8 pm.
Kenneth was born April 5, 1952 in Alabama to the late James and Jessie Lee Bell Sasser. He was married for over 50 years to his late wife Paula Sasser. He was a truck driver for many years and also had a passion for riding motor cycles. Kenneth also loved his grand kids and family. In addition to his parents and wife; son, Brian Sasser; daughter, Stephanie Thames; parents Jessie & Caston Sasser; mother and father-in-law Mavis & Frazier Lomax DeLoach; brothers, Egar Sasser, Earl Sasser, Bud Sasser, Leland Sasser; sisters: Seretha Johnston, Printha Brooks, Eva Jensen, Mary Jane Smith.
Survivors include; son Lamar (Allison) Sasser; daughter-in-law Shannon Sasser; former Daughter-in-law Nina Sasser; son-in-Law Joe Thames, granddaughter Hillary (Brandon) Smith; grandson Jason Sasser; granddaughter Maddie (Todd) Chandler, grandson Mason (Emma) Bedsole; great-granddaughters Ashtynn Bedsole and Addy Chandler; brother, Buddy (Ruby) Sasser; sisters: Joyce Broadus, Barbara (Ray) Holtzclaw; special friend Judy Dunnavant; special niece Shirley & Doug Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
