John Edward Foster

John Edward Foster of Enterprise passed away Monday, August 3, 2020. He was 73.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Westside Church of Christ with Minister Willie Stanford officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, AL with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family requests that all who attend wear masks.    

John was born September 28, 1946 to the late John D. and Susie Foster.  He was preceded in death by sisters, Cynthia Duncan and Edna Peoples.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 42 years, Gayle Foster; children:  Mark Foster (Tony) of Dothan, AL, Malina Fleming (Jeremy) of Enterprise, AL, Susan Custis (Milton) of Virginia Beach, VA, Donna Foster of Enterprise, AL, Tangnika Foster of Virginia Beach, VA and Ezekial Foster of Enterprise, AL; brothers, Robert Foster (Cordia) and Jimmy Foster both of Louisville, KY; sisters, Ella Marie Hutcherson of Enterprise, AL and Bessie Sue Henry (Arthur) of Charlotte, NC; two favorite aunts, Bonnie Grubbs of NC and Sylvia Miller of Enterprise, AL; ten grandchildren, Malyah, Auzhanik, Yamiah, John, Jaylania, Jaden, Zanyiah, Curtis, Essie and Ella; two special daughters, Serena Gray of Enterprise, AL and Tamika Stinson of Daleville, AL; special son, Timothy Stinson of Dothan, AL; two special grandchildren and four special great-grandchildren who called him Poppy; special grandchildren, Marquette and Marissa; special great-grandchidren, Isaiah, Amiah, Vonah and Khalil; Westside Church of Christ Church family and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
