Irma Ida Guttenberger Beeson passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Bay Medical in Panama City, Florida. She was 93.
Graveside services will on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise with Pastor Jim Endrihs officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Masks and social distancing will be required to attend the funeral service and visitation. The graveside service will also be live streamed and will be able to be viewed on Sorrells Funeral Home Facebook page.
Irma was born December 20, 1927 in Needville, Texas to the late Konrad and Mary Warnke Guttenberger. She had a passion for dancing, cats, and bowling with family and friends. She also had a strong love for the beach and her home state of Texas. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Beeson; son, Randall Beeson; daughter, Ava Maddox; granddaughter, Tabitha Maddox; and grandson, Jason Byrd.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the SOS Animal Shelter or Christ The King Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gina Slitti (Frank), of Panama City Beach, FL; one son, Howard Jay Beeson (Erika), of Hoover, AL; two brothers, Edwin Guttenberger and Herman Guttenberger; two sisters, Ella Eisman and Tina Zwahr; three grandchildren: Nichole May, Christopher Shirley (Katrina) and Sheena Landers (Brandon); seven great-grandchildren: Kaden, Kyla, Hayley, Julia, Jackson, McKenzi and Randi.
