Georgia Lee Ann Glazier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgia Lee Ann Glazier, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on November 12, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Georgia's departure has left a profound void in our lives, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

A privet family memorial service will take place with Pastor John McCumrum officiating.

Born on August 3, 1963 in Illinois, Georgia was the daughter of Hazel Tayler; who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister Rose Guyton and several nieces and nephews.

From a young age, it was evident that Georgia possessed an indomitable spirit and a zest for life that would define her journey. She grew up in a close-knit family and developed strong bonds with her siblings, who would become her lifelong friends and confidants.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Georgia was a fiercely devoted mother to her children, Stephen, Isacc and Valarie. She embraced motherhood with unwavering love and provided her children with a nurturing and supportive environment. Georgia was their rock, offering encouragement, and an unwavering belief in their dreams. She cherished every moment spent with her children, creating lasting memories and instilling in them the values that would shape their futures.

Georgia had a vibrant personality that drew people toward her. Her infectious laughter, kind heart, and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She had an uncanny ability to make others feel seen and valued, always offering a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on.

Georgia's passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love, compassion, and zest for life. Her legacy lives on through the memories shared, the lives she touched, and the values she instilled in those she held dear.

Georgia Leanne Glazier is survived by her children, Stephen Glazier (Heather), Isacc Glazier (Skyla), and Valarie Lesher (Damien); her siblings Sharn Babcock, Karon Wurst (Wayne), George Schmidt, Mary Heimerman, Connie Hadsell, Patsy Holmes (Randy), Sheila Hadaway, Edith Braet, Mike Schmidt (Debbie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
