Franklin Howell

Franklin Howell of Enterprise passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was 76.                

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with a graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise with Reverend Christopher Brown officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing. 

Mr. Howell was born in Geneva County, Alabama on August 4, 1945 to the late John T.B. and Jennie Mae Howell.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Howell, and sister, Dorothy Estes.

Franklin was a retired pastor.  He loved his family, and he loved to fish.  He was a hard worker, and as his time drew near, he was ready to go home to be with the Lord.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Patricia Howell; daughter, Linda Howell of Dothan; son, Steve Owens of Enterprise; brother, Winston Churchill Howell of Hartford, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
