Susan, Karen, Sheila, Chris,Randy and your families,
I'm sad to hear about the passing of your mom, my Aunt Ethel.  I have wonderful memories of all the visits during my childhood to your home in Barre.  I'm very glad I got to have dinner with your Mom on her last trip to Vermont a few years ago. The thing I remember most about Aunt Ethel is  her infectious laugh! I hope good memories allow you all to heal.

Ethel is my oldest sister. I have so many wonderful memories of her. We were 5 siblings in the family. I can honestly say that Ethel was the quietest and best behaved of the group!  I can remember when her then boyfriend, Ralph Cayia, would walk all the way from Barre to Graniteville to woo her! He then had to walk back home late at night. Now, that was real love! He even had to deal with our mother blinking the porch light to remind him to stop 'saying' goodnight to Ethel when he was heading back home from his date! She is now with him for eternity, as God would have it. Rest in peace Ethel and Ralph.
