Diane Walker

Diane Walker, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Monday, April 18, 2023. She was 75.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 am on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Spooneybarger officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Diane was born September 13, 1947 in Jackson, Mississippi to W.S and Doris Ezell Towns.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise and served in the medical field as a nurse. She had a love for painting, gardening, but most of all her children and grandchildren. Her father preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years Ed Walker; children, Janet Middleton, Jay Walker, Melissa Carter (Ned); mother, Doris Towns; one brother, Bill Towns; five grandchildren, Rob Miller (Nici), Lilith “Lily”, Mallory, Riley, Thomas; great-grandchildren, Dennis and Remi.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
