Colleen A (Johnson) White

Colleen A. White of Enterprise, AL went on to be with the Lord Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 68.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating.  There will be a private graveside service following at Meadowlawn Cemetery.  No visitation prior to funeral service.

Colleen was born in Battle Creek, MI to the late Samuel and Emily Johnson. Colleen was a lover.  She loved the Lord. She loved and adored her family. Professionally, she was a counselor to soldiers and families at Lyster Army Hospital for over 20 years.  Colleen was regal, humble, and genuine. She was an artist, loved crafts, antiques, and finding the ultimate bargain.  But more importantly, Colleen loved people. Colleen loved magnificently, holding other’s interests above her own.  She touched the lives of many, even reaching across the world.  She was a loving wife, mother, Mimi, sister, daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wayne White; daughter, Amanda Williams (John) of Enterprise, AL; sons, Ryan White (Crystal) of Montgomery, AL and Benjamin White of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sisters: Paddy Michalski of Dallas TX, Tina Hill (Jerry) of Big Bear, CA and Lorraine Haywood (David) of Wellington, CO; brothers: Samuel Johnson (Marianne) of Las Vegas, NV and Kurt Johnson of Houston, TX; six grandchildren:  Cailin, Emily, Cara, Kathryn, Anna, and Jackson.  Preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Emily Johnson, and sister, Jvonnie Foster.
