Bonita Horton Johnson, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 28, 2022.
“Bonnie” was living in Enterprise, Alabama. She was born August 2, 1949, in Pennsylvania. The daughter of the late Reverend George and Leanore (Shaal) Horton, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert Benjamin “Benji” Hawkins.
Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Laurie (Mike) Shroades; three sisters, Georgine (Mitch) Skipper, Donace (Andy) Dillon, and Sheryl (Roby) Phillips; three grandchildren, Brooke (Chris) Morris, Mikey Shroades, and Tyler Hawkins; three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Shroades, Kynlee Shroades, and Louella Morris; along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bonnie was a loving and kind person that enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She loved all of her sisters so much. She loved to sing and play piano. She was certainly very adventurous and knew how to make everyone laugh. She had a heart for missions and singing to the Lord.
