Billy Ray Hataway

Billy Ray Hataway of Goodman, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.  He was 48. 

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Roy Turner officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until time of service. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.

Billy is preceded in death by grandparents, Louise Roberts and Eunice Inman; uncles, Lloyd Strickland and Gerald Hataway and aunts, Peggy Taylor and Joyce Peters.

Survivors include his parents, Tommy and Marion Hataway of Georgetown GA, brothers, Mardale “Mardy” Hataway (Amy) of New Brockton, AL and Tommy “Tbo” Hataway (Cynthia) of Elba, AL; nieces:  Taylor Hataway (Wyatt), Tiffany Gordon (Dante), Kaylor Hataway, Destiny Hataway and Lyla Hataway; great-nephew, Clark Hataway; aunts: Mary Farris (Glenn), Elaine Roberts, Doris Hataway, Gale Smith, Linda Strickland, Patricia Hudson (Randolph); uncles:  Mark Hataway (Angie), Jimmy Hataway, Rickey Hataway and Ronnie Hataway (Tammie) and loved by many other family and friends.
