Benny Wood

Benny Wood of Enterprise, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.  He was 83.

A graveside service will be Friday, May 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. 

Benny was born August 2, 1936 to the late Jack and Annie Wood.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Wood, Herbert Wood and Charles Wood.  He loved his family, gardening and attending church at Asbury Methodist Church where he was a member.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Wood Pund (Ted) of Enterprise, AL; son, Scott Wood of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren:  Brad (Mary), Eric (Crystal), Brittni (Cody), Lauren (Adam), Brooke (Samantha), Zach, Bill and Jim (Jennifer) and great-grandchildren:  Samantha, Emily, Carter, Grant, Will, Jackson and Sebastian.
