Barbara Christine (Sullivant) Sims,

Barbara Sims, of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023. She was 67.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Faith View Holiness Church with Reverend Marcus Ramer, Frank Webber, and Billy Cardwell officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2Pm to 4PM, and Monday prior to the service beginning at 1PM and continuing until service time.

Barbara was born January 30, 1956 in Enterprise Alabama to the late Rastus and Vera Sullivant. She attended Faith View Holiness Church, and loved her family. She especially loved her grandchildren!

Survivors include her husband Wayne Sims, daughter Emily Sims, son Jason Sims (Angela); five grandchildren: Heather Sims, Jason Rhett Sims, Kaden Sims, Kolin Sims, and Lauren Bowers.

While flowers are welcome, the family also asks for donations to be made to Father Purcell Memorial Exceptional Childrens Center at 2048 W. Fairview Ave. Montgomery Alabama 36108.
