Willie Ray Jerkins

Willie Ray Jerkins, of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 in Dothan, Alabama. He was 79.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time. A private burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama.

Ray was born November 27, 1943 in Daleville, Alabama to the late Bunk and Alice Barefoot Jerkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Kenneth Jerkins, John Henry Jerkins, Willie Jeff Jerkins, Bunk Jr. Jerkins, James Jerkins, Jimmy Jerkins; one sister, Katherine Fulford; one daughter Lisa Austin.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. Jerkins; children: Amy Harris (Mike), Michelle Passmore (Adan Binmahfood), Lisa Nolin (Michael), Connie Mahan (Allen), Tommy Jerkins, Tammy Hood (Chuck); son-in-law, Michael Austin; sister, Betty Hall (Jerry); grandchildren: Amanda Braden, Slayer Jerkins, Justin Mahan, Ashley Brook Harris, Kristen Mahan Capps, Josh Wendel, Yousef Binmahfood, Ibrahim Binmahfood; great-grandchildren: JR Riley, Lawson Riley, Gabbie Braden, Madeline Malden Mahan, Sera Capps, Bryson Wendel.
