William "Billy" Murphree

William (Billy) Murphree of Opelika, AL passed away Wednesday April 7, 2021.  He was 62.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday April 17th at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise AL with Chaplain/Pastor Mitch Nethery and Pastor Scott Roney officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service.

William was born on July 11, 1958 in Guin, Alabama to the late Mary Jannette Barnes and William Clark Murphree, Sr.

Survivors include his daughters, Selena Murphree of Memphis, TN, Christina and Kyle Boatwright and their children, Gavin, Rinley and Sadie of Enterprise, AL and sister, Clearice Roney and her husband Scott Roney of Opelika, AL.

William will be missed by many friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, "story telling" personality, generosity and love for the Lord.
