William G. Clark, Sr.

William G. Clark, Sr. of Cottonwood passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021.  He was 71.

The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise, AL on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Face masks and social distancing are required to attend this event.

William was born in Hartford, AL on November 26, 1949 to the late Simpson and Betty Clark.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Ann Clark and Lessie Brooks.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sarah Clark of Cottonwood, AL; children, Marie Fontaine (Dustan) of Hurst, TX, William G. Clark, Jr. “Bubba” (Seeta) of Baton Rouge, LA, Ann Clark (Shawn) of Canton, GA, William Smith “P-Nut” (Tonya) of Dothan, AL, Felicia Clark of Enterprise, AL, Betty Strickland (Jeffery) of Hartford, AL and Latasha Jerkins of Hartford, AL; stepchildren, Jerry Lewis (Becky) of Headland, AL, Peggy Nichols (Sam) of Graceville, FL, Janet Cunningham (Shelby) of Headland, AL and Sonya Davis of Headland, AL; 30 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Corbin of Midland City, AL, Robert Clark of Headland, AL and Glenda Gail Byrd of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews; and his many truck driver friends.
