Wanda Gayle Reynolds, age 73, of Bellwood, Alabama, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Jimmie Lou Dykes; her brother, Posey Dykes; her sister, Sheila Dykes Woods; and her infant sister, Mary Dykes.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Ronnie W. Reynolds; her son, Chad W. Reynolds (Holli); and her grandson, Ean Reynolds (fiancée Mallory), who was truly the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Dykes (Hilda); Shannon Casebourn (John), whom she loved like a daughter; and Shannon’s daughters, Madisson, Shyannah, and Kallie. Wanda was blessed with a special lifelong friendship with Sharrel Forehand. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Bella, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Wanda dedicated her career as an international student coordinator for civil service, where she played a vital role with international flight students from around the world who trained at Fort Rucker. She found great joy in connecting with people and building lasting relationships through her work.
She was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church until its closure and later attended Trinity Baptist Church. Her faith and love for others were evident in the way she lived her life.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise with Dr. Allen Marsh officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 1:45 PM.
While flowers are welcome, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wanda’s memory to Trinity Baptist Church, 2694 AL-52 Geneva, Alabama, 36340.
Wanda will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the lasting impact she made on everyone blessed to know her.
