Waltraud "Val" (Ramming) Montoya

Waltraud “Val” Montoya of Enterprise passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021.  She was 78.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Val was born on November 27, 1942 in Bayreuth, Germany.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Therese Ramming; brother, Franz Ramming; and sister, Friedl Ramming.  Val was a sales associate at Walmart for 31 years before retiring in 2014.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele Montoya of Enterprise, AL, Estella Riley (Marcus) of Prattville, AL, Marie Ashworth (Michael) of Dothan, AL and Jerriann Smith (PJ) of Phenix City, AL; sister, Magda Schlegel of Germany; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
