Wade H. Paramore

Wade H. Paramore of Enterprise, loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away May 4, 2025, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham at the age of 81.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at First Methodist Church of Enterprise with Reverend Matt Jordan officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. A private interment will follow at a later date at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge.

Wade was born February 23, 1944, to the late Howard and Merle Graves Paramore. Wade and Shirley currently resided in Enterprise for the past four years. Prior to that they resided in Hoover, Alabama for 21 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Edwards; brother, Graves Weldon Paramore; and brother-in-law, Elton Russ.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Paramore; son, Jason Paramore (Rose Mary) of Newton, Georgia; son-in-law, Ward Edwards of Brundidge; sister, Janice Russ of Vernon, Florida; brother, Winston Paramore (Ann) of Ellijay, Georgia; sister-in-law, Martha Paramore of Cottonwood; grandchildren, Aspen Waters (James), Logan Wade Edwards, Trey Edwards (Rylie), Skye Hinteregger, and Jett Hinteregger; and his beloved dog, Zoe, whom he lovingly referred to as “My Girl.” In addition to his love for Zoe, he also had a love for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing.
