She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Billy Harmon; her son, Patrick Jay Harmon (Rachel) of Bethlehem, Florida; mother, Dorothy Harper Daves; brother, Geary Daves (Deborah) of Palm Harbor, Florida; her grandchildren, Monica Harmon (Anshar), Josue Harmon (Olivia), and Johnathan Harmon; her great-grandchild, Alejandro Walker-Feliciano; brother-in-law, Adam Harmon, Chapel Hill, Tenessee; and nieces, Sarah Clouse (Matthew), Kristen Daves and Alison Shaw.
Vicky dedicated her life to caring for others. As a United States Air Force Captain and a nurse for 43 years, she poured her heart into helping people. But she didn’t stop there—she was always working on something, always in motion. Whether it was rearranging the house (again), starting a new project (or five at once), or hunting for the perfect find while shopping, she tackled everything with energy and enthusiasm.
And then, there were the ladybugs—her favorite little symbols of luck and joy, just like she was to all of us. She lived life with passion, talked like every conversation was the most important one, and laughed like she meant it. Because she did.
Vicky left her mark on this world in the best way possible—through love, laughter, and the countless lives she touched. Though we miss her more than words can say, we carry her spirit with us always. Her love, her laughter, and her unstoppable energy will never fade.
In lieu of flowers the family requests potted plants or candles in her honor.
