Tommy Saulmon

Mr. Tommy Saulmon passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 86 years old.

Memorialization will be cremation with no services at this time.

Tommy was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on July 7, 1939, to the late Chris and Syble Kimbro Saulmon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nellie Kate.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sharon Saulmon, whom he married at 21 years old; and daughter Katrina Mitchell.

Tommy worked for Covington Electric in Andalusia for many years. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Enterprise. Tommy’s desire the last week of his life was to leave this life and be with Jesus where there is no more pain, tears, or fears. At 9:21 PM Thursday evening Jesus granted his request. Pastor Adams prayed with Tommy as he took his last breath with his daughter by his side.

We rejoice with him that his faith became reality as he fell at the feet of Jesus in that moment with great thankfulness as his faith was fully realized.

We celebrate a life well lived for Tommy and pray for his family as they continue to serve and trust Jesus in the days ahead, knowing they will see him again. Until then we will keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
