Timothy L Adkinson

Timothy L. Adkinson of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021.  He was 59.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church of New Brockton with Reverend Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow at Richburg Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.

Timothy was born November 3, 1962 in Enterprise, AL.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gaston Adkison; and nephew, Jackie “Sparky” Adkinson.  He retired from the Air National Guard and served in the U.S. Air Force where he traveled all over the world.  He was an aircraft mechanic for M1 Support Services at Fort Rucker, AL.  He enjoyed fishing and was a loving brother, son and uncle.

Survivors include his mother, Madelyn Adkison of New Brockton, AL; siblings, Jackie Adkinson of New Brockton, AL, Phyllis Stuckey (Wayne) of New Brockton, AL, Anita Collins (Patrick) of Powder Springs, GA and Scott Adkison (Courtney) of New Brockton, AL; nieces, Olivia Collins, Keltzie Harrison, Lexie Adkison, Stephanie Stuckey Jordan, and Ashley Stuckey McDuffie.
