Mr. Terry Gene “Sing” Singleton, age 80, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at his home surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on October 10, 1945, in Indiana, Terry built a life marked by hard work, devotion to his family, and faithful service to his country. He proudly served in the United States Army for over 20 years before retiring from military service. Following his military career, he continued working for the federal government and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to serve others. His leadership in Civil Service was recognized by all.
Terry was a member of Grace Place Church. He enjoyed spending time outdoors working in the yard, traveling with his family, cigars and was especially proud of his cars… his classic 1988 Ford Mustang was a favorite! Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, his love for family, and the many memories made together through the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Oval Singleton; his sisters, Gloria, Julia, Peggy; and his cousin, Butch.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 36 years, Angelika Singleton of Enterprise; his children, Jenny (Fred), Rebecca (Marko), Monique, Patricia (Sefket), and Benjamin (Raeanne); his sister, Jane; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Grace Place Church in Enterprise, Alabama, with Rev. Jamie Payton officiating. Burial will take place at Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time and extends and invitation to return to the church for a meal to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Enterprise Lions Club Wounded Warrior Project at P.O. Box 310598 Enterprise Alabama 36331-0598.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to Gentiva Hospice, friends, neighbors, and all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this time.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
