Teresa Arnold Moore went home to our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. She was 74.
She was born June 14, 1951 in Donalsonville, GA to Dorsey Dale Arnold and the former Betty Sue Harris; who preceded her in death.
Teresa was a 1970 graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark Alabama. She married Charles Moore in 1971 and had 2 sons, Michael and David. They eventually made their home in Jacksonville, Florida. When the boys were young, she attended college and became an RN. She worked at Memorial Hospital for a time, before finding her calling as a home health care nurse, which she did until she retired. She and her boys took Tang So Do and she earned her way to 2nd degree black belt. Teresa was a Mary Kay consultant for years, eventually working her way up to director and earning herself a car, which she was very proud of. Later on, she moved back to Ozark, and lived out her life in the same house where she spent her teenage years.
Teresa was very deep in her faith and had a deep love for the Lord. Her family was her everything. She was excited when her sons married, because she then had daughters, as well as two ready-made granddaughters. Her two grandsons came along soon after, and her heart was absolutely overflowing with love and happiness.
She is survived by sons Michael Moore (Angie), St. Johns, FL and David Moore (Colleen), Deltona, FL; grandchildren Jade Castro (Landon), Brianna Hill (Paul), Ethan and Liam Moore; her brother Zack Arnold (Nita), Marianna, FL; Nieces and Nephews Aaron Arnold (Stacey), Jessa Waters (Jeremy), Stephanie Gilland (Tim), Stacy Cupples (Michael) and Brian Shinholster; long time best friend, partner-in-crime and caretaker Debbie Barone, and a host of family and dear friends.
The family would like to thank Pastor Edward Douglas; neighbors Missy and Sandy Riddle; and Adam and Dana Toub for all of the support to Mom and Deb. It means so much to us that they had amazing people praying over them, helping them with anything they needed and providing emotional support during this time. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 2PM at the Living Covenant Church located at Eastgate 406 Ben Street Ozark Alabama with Pastor Edward Douglas officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.
Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise, (334) 347-9598, is in charge of arrangements. To sign a guest register, please visit www.sorrellsfuneralhomeenterprise.com.
