Tammy Whigham Hinton

Tammy Whigham Hinton of Enterprise, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was 62.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Enterprise First Assembly of God with Reverend Shawn Crosby and Reverend Mike Chandler officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Opp, Alabama with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Tammy was born on January 10, 1959, to the late Archie and Lynell Grimes Whigham.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Archie Eugune “Jenkins” Whigham, Jr.  She was 100% dedicated to her church, and her favorite hobby was helping others and giving.  She loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Sarabeth.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Randy Hinton; daughter, Tracey Lynell Odom of Enterprise; sister, Susan Lynn Whigham of Enterprise; niece, Susan Cassandra Driggers and family of Virginia; nephew, Jerry Wayne Cartwright, Jr. and family of Selma, Alabama; and granddaughter, Sarabeth Odom.
