Stuart Lee Mock

Stuart Lee Mock, 68, of Elba, Alabama, passed away at his home on October 23, 2026. He was born on March 29, 1958, in Niceville, Florida.

Stuart worked for the Coffee County Highway Department and loved farming, spending as much time as possible on a tractor. He also worked on a fishing boat. He graduated from Coffee Springs School and Enterprise State Community College. His love of history led him to explore genealogy and visit cemeteries, where he enjoyed spending time.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shellie M. Mock, and his grandparents.

Stuart is survived by his mother, Mary C. Theiner Mock; his sister, Theresa Hutto (Willard); his brothers, Edward Mock (Lisa), Shellie Mock Jr., Gary Mock (Bobbie), and Timothy Mock; and his beloved dogs, Diesel and Snowball.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise is honored to serve the Mock family.
