Shirley (Willis) Smith

Shirley Smith, born on March 12, 1952, peacefully passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 72.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Gracie Willis, and her son Keith Wayne Smith.

Shirley was born and raised in Florida, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors, a passion that would shape her life in profound ways. Throughout her life, Shirley dedicated herself to working in the Orange Groves, primarily to support and care for her family. Her hard work and dedication was a testament to her strength and love for those closest to her. Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with her loved ones and finding solace in the beauty of nature. Shirley had a vibrant spirit and a love for music and dancing. She found happiness in the melodies that filled the air and the rhythm that moved her soul. Shirley also had a few indulgences that brought her joy, including cigarettes and Dr. Pepper, fast cars, and the beach. These simple pleasures added color to her life and brought a sparkle to her eyes.

Shirley Smith will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the moments shared with her. She is survived by her daughters Renea Smith and Jessica Walker, son-in-law Lee Walker, her grandchildren Melissa Cherch, Alison Simmons (Riley Remple), Mason Cherch (Dee Pridgens), Emily Simmons, Jaycee Juvenal, Faith Walker, and Falyn Walker. Shirley is also survived by five great-grandchildren Laycee Cherch, Adalyn Dansby, Axton Remple, Myka Strickland and Delanie Cherch.
