Mrs. Shirley Brannan, 92, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 18, 1934, in Uhrichsville, Ohio, Shirley was the daughter of the late Virgil William Kuhn and Ruth Marie Baultzell Kuhn. An only child, she was raised with strong values of faith, family, and hard work that remained evident throughout her life.

Shirley dedicated her career to serving as a secretary at Truett McConnell University and to the Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. She was a member of Zion Interdenominational Church and found comfort and strength in her faith. Those who knew her will remember her kind spirit, gentle nature, quick-wit and unwavering devotion to her family.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Shirley treasured the time she spent with her family. Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow and celebrating life’s special moments together.

She is survived by her three daughters; three granddaughters, and three great grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

A private graveside service will be held in Zion Interdenominational Cemetery in Cleveland, Georgia, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved parents.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dayspring Hospice for the compassionate care and support shown to Shirley and her loved ones during her final days.

Shirley’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
