Shelton Joseph Mcgarry

Shelton Joseph McGarry of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022.  He was 28.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Shelton was born on November 12, 1994.  He was a quiet, gentle soul, a young man of few words but deep emotion.  Shelton had an amazing way with animals.  His deep love and respect for them enabled him to gain the trust of a strange animal within minutes.

He was enamored by a visit to Ireland and was extremely proud of his Irish roots.

He loved his family and friends with every fiber he had.  He never failed to end a phone call or text without saying "I love you".  He will be sorely missed by all.

Shelton is survived by his parents, Marjorie McGarry & John Weaver; father, Dale McGarry; grandmother, Annmarie Mesker (Jerry); grandfather Dave McGarry (Sue); aunt, Megan Moran (Allen); numerous cousins & family members; and the great love of his life, his dog, Diamond.

A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in memoriam can be made to any animal shelter or rescue including Felines Under Rescue, SOS Animal Shelter, or The Wiregrass Humane Society.
