Shellie Nicole Farris

Shellie Nicole Farris of Elba, Alabama passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 50.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2026 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory with Reverend Lamar Wood officiating. Burial will follow in El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the evening prior to the service on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 6pm until 8pm.

Shellie was born January 20, 1975 in Enterprise, Alabama to Willard M. and Sharron Chancellor. She started her Christian walk in El Bethel Baptist Church in Chancellor, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandparents: Willard L. Chancellor, Joan Chancellor, Willis E. Pipkins, Sara F. Pipkins; as well as two aunts, Linda Hoover, and Phyllis Thomas all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Scottie Wilson Farris; five children, Brandon Goin, Ashley Boothe, Mariah Farris, Madelynn Farris, Makenzie Farris, Maleah Farris; parents, Willard & Sharron Chancellor; grandchildren: Hunter, Rylee, Kason, Kylee, soon to be Tayley, Roycen, Aiden, Xander, Gracelyn.
