Shelby Glenn Mims

Mr. Shelby Glenn Mims, of Daleville, Alabama passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at his residence. He was 53.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 11, 2025 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Mr. Mims was born August 22, 1971 in Alabama to the late Winford and Carolyn Sue Reeves Mims. In addition to his parents; his wife, Tammy Renee Baker Mims; sons, Shelby Glenn Mims Jr., Brandon Mims; sister, Elma Carol Reeves Mims all preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Dewayne Mims, Willard Preston Blake Mims; sister, Winnie Estella Mims Bogden (Edward); brother, Winford Willard Mims Jr. (Mandy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
