Shelby F. Griswold

Shelby F. Griswold of New Brockton, AL passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He was 77. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at Old Tabernacle Cemetery with Pastor Comer officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Shelby was born December 19, 1941 to the late Claybron and Emma Griswold.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Chihoko Tanakoshi. Survivors include his brother, Anthony Griswold (Joyce) of New Brockton, AL; nephews, Erik Griswold (Michelle) of New Brockton, AL and Tim Griswold (Anay) of Helena, AL; niece, Amanda Chandler (Lee) of Jacksonville, FL and great-nephews, Austin Griswold and Andrew Griswold. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of DaySpring Hospice and Sorrells Funeral Home for their loving care of Mr. Griswold.
