Sharon M. Cardwell

Mrs. Sharon M. Cardwell, of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at her residence. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Enterprise First Assembly of God Church with her husband, Reverend Billy Cardwell officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. Burial will follow at Old Tabernacle Cemetery, Highway 51, New Brockton, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church on Saturday.

Mrs. Cardwell was born December 21, 1945, in Florida to the late Howard C. and Frances Estelle Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Reverend Billy Cardwell; three daughters, Shelly Davis (Timothy), Savannah Dunaway (William), and Susan Cardwell; two brothers; one sister; six grandchildren, Jordan Davis (Kelli), Lauren Ramsey (Gerard), Abby Warden (Cody), John Nathan Dunaway (Ashlyn), Clayton Benefield, and Tyler Benefield (Hayley); and ten great-grandchildren, Kaiden Ramsey, Laila Ramsey, Clark Davis, Ryan Davis, Everett Dunaway, Kate Dunaway, Collins Dunaway, Callen Warden, Barrett Warden, and Cole Benefield.
