Shannon (Wilson) Foxworth

Shannon Foxworth, of Enterprise, passed away peacefully Saturday evening November 6, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 80.

A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Bond officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.

Mrs. Foxworth was born April 8, 1941 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Willie D. and Clara Bell Jacobs Wilson. Shannon loved her Lord and Savior and her family. She fought each day through her cancer battle with a positive attitude and never complained.  In addition to her parents, one sister, Shirley Brookins; one brother, Buddy Wilson; one niece, Cheryl Byrd; one son-in-law, Phillip Adkison all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Gene Foxworth; one son, Brian Foxworth; one daughter, Teri Adkison; one brother, Jerry Wilson; five grandchildren, Hannah Bertsch (Michael), Heather Salgado (Alex), Dustin Foxworth, Danielle Foxworth, Hayden Adkison; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ella, Micah, Xane.
