Sara Kennedy

Sara Kennedy, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away January 20, 2025, at her residence. She was 93.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Fairview Addition in Eufaula, Alabama, with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Sara was born April 4, 1931, in Coffee County to the late Whirley and Bessie Brooks Atchley. In addition to her parents, her first husband, James C Moulton; second husband, Rufus Kennedy; three sisters; five brothers; one grandchild, Brad Ellsworth, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Elizabeth Wiley of Dothan, Alabama, Jimmy Moulton (Robbie) of Elba, Alabama, Joseph Moulton (Ava) of Kinston, Alabama, James Cecil Moulton Jr. of Elba, Alabama, James Lamar Moulton (Renee) of Louisiana; siblings, Joyce Ryan of Enterprise, Alabama, Billy Atchley of Georgia, Jackie Atchley of Florida; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
