Sandra "Nanny" Thompson

Sandra “Nanny” Thompson, of Enterprise, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her residence. She was 71 years old.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Bruce Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

Sandra was born July 30, 1950 in Fort Gaines, Georgia to the late Gene Wood and Dorothy Faulk Wood Cato. In addition to her parents, one brother Heath Wood, four grandchildren: Christina Thompson, Delana Thompson, Derrick Judson, Greg Wilkes, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons; Billy Thompson (Stephanie), Ronnie Thompson (Cindy), Donnie Thompson (Danita), Odie Thompson (Tracie); one brother, William Clyde Cato; Grandchildren: Tiffany Carrington (Tyler), Jesse Thompson, Joshua Thompson (Hannah), Christopher Thompson (Stephanie) , Zach Thompson, Emily White, Dixie Thoms (Bob), Delia Thompson, Denesa Thompson, Dalton Thompson, Gracie Thompson; Great-grandchildren: Katherine Carrington, Mason Carrington, Molly Carrington, Parker Thompson, Connor Thompson, Harrison Thompson, Mary Frances Thompson, Arizona Thoms, Westlynn Thoms, Lily Spicer, Bailey Campbell, Cole Crook, Carson McDonald (Wendy), Averie White; Great-great grandchild, Olivia Crook; one nephew, Jeremiah Cato.
