Rusty "Dogg" Greenwell

Rusty “Dogg” Greenwell of Midland City passed away at on October 7, 2021.  He was 36.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Rusty “Dogg” was born on May 7, 1985 in Springfield, Missouri.  He enjoyed being out in the open air, riding his motorcycle and traveling.  He was an experienced welder and fabricator.

Rusty is survived by his wife of over 6 years, Angel; daughter, Emma Torongeau; father, Steven Greenwell (Gayle) of Echo; mother, Cynthia Dudley of Huntsville; sister, Samantha Blumkin (Greysen) of Huntsville; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Daugette (Gage) of Union Grove, Alabama and Heather White (Corey) of Meridianville, Alabama; brother-in-law, Dave Whisante, Jr. (Sydney) of Union Grove; mother-in-law, Tracy Whisante of Union Grove; father-in-law, Dennis Brannon of Huntsville; Hudson, Everett, and four additional nephews; and four nieces.
