Ronnie H. Ezell

Ronnie H. Ezell, 73, of Enterprise, AL passed away at Flowers Hospital Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 13th at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Cliff Quincey officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Ronnie Ezell, born on January 12, 1951 to Fletcher and Flora Spivey Ezell, was a a man who knew how to work hard. He was a conscience steward of his families’ land, where he lived his whole life. As an avid farmer his passion was to grow a beautiful garden every year and distribute its bounty to his friends and family. He always gave God the glory for the gardens he grew. Often he would humbly say, “I just put it in the ground, God does the rest.” Nothing gave Ronnie greater joy than to serve others. You could always find him in his shop cooking fine meals to share with others. He took pleasure in keeping his families’ land in pristine order. His cows were a source of pride for him, and he spent many hours tending them. But nothing gave Ronnie more joy than his family. He was a quiet, strong man who loved his family unconditionally, Ronnie was a selfless husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Survivors include his son, Con Ezell (Gina Watson), Enterprise; two sisters, Jane Boswell (Sam) and Margaret Flowers (Bobby) both of Enterprise; and three grandchildren, Tristen, Sophia, and Chloe Ezell. Ronnie was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen Mauldin Ezell and his son Nicholas Ezell.

Ronnie will be greatly missed but his memory and legacy will live on with so many in the Batten’s Community and beyond.
