Roger Dale Daughtry

Roger Dale Daughtry of New Brockton, formerly of the Fairview Community, passed away Tuesday February 23, 2021. He was 74.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise with Reverend Elbert Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Facial masks and social distancing will be required to attend these events.

Roger was born on June 5, 1946 to the late Augustus and Bertie Daughtry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Myrtle Wood, Lurline White, Hazel White and Louise Martin.

The family will gather at his daughter’s home, Kim Lopez, 514 County Road 656, Chancellor.

Survivors include his daughters, Kim Lopez (Tony), Pam Daughtry, and Dawn Catrett (Rickey, Jr.); sisters, Josephine Christmas (Jimmy); grandchildren, Ryan, Gavin, Joshua, Anna, Hannah, Savanah and Dalton; eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
