Robert "Bob" Schmidt

Robert “Bob” Schmidt, age 65, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at Medical Center Enterprise.

Bob was born on January 1, 1961, in Pennsylvania. He made his home in Enterprise, where he was known as a hardworking man who spent his career as a pin presser in the manufacturing industry. Bob valued hard work, loved his family deeply, and found his greatest joy in the time he shared with those he loved.

For 41 years, Bob shared life’s journey with the love of his life, Jane Schmidt. Their marriage was built on love, commitment, and devotion to one another. Together they built a family that remained the center of Bob’s life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Schmidt of Enterprise; his son, Damien Robert Schmidt of Enterprise; his daughters, Tina Tome and Heather Tome both of Florida; and eight grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob will be remembered for his quiet strength, his dedication to providing for his family, and the love he shared with those closest to him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
