Robert Glen “Joe” Jones

Robert Glen “Joe” Jones of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his residence. He was 75.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory with Reverend Lee Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn cemetery in with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Joe was born November 22, 1948 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Ozzie and Ollie Johnson Jones. He was a hard worker with a very strong work ethic which was displayed when he quit school at a young age in order take care of his family. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his wife Carol Jones; daughter, Lisa Herring; brothers, Wade Jones, Don Jones, Ivan Jones; sisters, Linda Jones, MaryAnn Jones, Ann Purvis, Betty Sue Rex all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children: Mary Jones, Robert Jones Jr. (Laura), Richard Jones (Christina), Cinnamon Coach (Michael); siblings, Ricky Jones, Vicky Jones; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
